Buzzards Bay, MA -- Eight Salem State athletes were recognized by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) for earning all-conference honors this fall. Highlighting the list was two-time All-MASCAC Runner of the Year Alex Gomes (Peabody, MA), who won both the individual MASCAC and New England Alliance Cross Country Championships for the second year in a row. Gomes finished his season with a 13th place finish for Vikings at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals with a time of 25:08.47 over the 8K layout, narrowly missing qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet.
