After turning in the second-fastest time in the mile run on the opening weekend of the Division III season, junior Grady Ward earned his first career UAA Athlete of the Week honor.

Senior Jarret Harrigan set a collegiate best as one of five Brandeis runners to finish in the top three, along with Mitchell Hutton (2nd, 3K), Mo Sidique (3rd, 800,), Grady Ward (3rd, mile) and Lydia McCaleb (3rd, 3K).

Thanks to the work of Max Berner '16 and James Machado '16, the Brandeis Athletics community is hoping to come together to raise money for cancer research with a unique campaign.

Junior co-captain Mohamed Sidique finished fifth in the country today with a career-best jump.

Senior Amelia Lundkvist will make her third trip to NCAAs this year, competing in the 1,500 meters, while junior Mo Sidique makes his nationals debut in the triple jump. The event will be held May 22-24 at Ohio Wesleyan University.

The Judges competed at two local meets over the weekend.

On Wednesday, April 30, Director of Athletics Sheryl Sousa '90 handed out the department's annual end-of-season awards.

Mohamed Sidique and Nick Wactor will race in the 400m final tomorrow, while the women's 4x800 relay team finished in second.
