The Mount Holyoke College track and field team had an outstanding start to the 2017-18 season with a pair of school records and several personal bests.

honored with All-Academic status by United States Track & Field Cross Country
Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Led by head coach Tina Lee in her 30th season, the Lyons saw action in 10 meets in 2016-17.

For the eighth year, the NCAA is inviting more than 230 current student-athletes to the Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis and three Mount Holyoke student-athletes were selected.

Congratulations to this week's Lyon of the Week, track & field's Minerva Veeser-Bobea! Last week at the team's home meet, Minerva won the 200-meter dash, finished second as part of the 4x100-meter relay, and helped the 4x400-meter relay to third overall!

The Mount Holyoke College track & field team finally opened its outdoor season on Saturday, competing at the non-team scoring Smith College Invitational.

Sophomore Donari Yahzid had a solid performance on Saturday, competing in the finals of the New England Division III Championships, hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
