Wellesley College track & field first year Abena Asare (Berlin, N.J.) won the Long Jump at the New England Division III Championships hosted by MIT on Friday evening.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference announced its 2015 Women's Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team on Monday and Wellesley College Track & Field had eight honorees.

Led by a trio of First Team All-Conference performers, Wellesley College track & field scored a school record 95 points to take fourth place at the 2015 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Championships at MIT's Henry G. Steinbrenner Track.

Wellesley College sophomore Isabella Narvaez won the 400 meter dash with a school record time of 57.38 on Saturday afternoon at the Aloha Relays, hosted by Bowdoin College. Narvarez s time breaks the previous mark of 58.47 set by Leah Clement in 2011.

Wellesley College track & field senior Taylor Bickford (Limington, Maine) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC0 Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 12th, 2015.

Wellesley College track & field grabbed several top times as it continued its spring season this weekend, competing on Friday and Saturday at the annual Silfen Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College.

Wellesley College track & field kicked off the spring outdoor season on Saturday, competing at the 5th Annual Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by American International College (AIC) at the John G. Hoyt Track and Field Complex.

Over spring break, Wellesley College junior Sharon Ng (Sunnyvale, Calif.) won the 2015 USA Badminton/Yonex Collegiate Nationals women s singles championship. The championships took place on March 21 and 22, in Milpitas, California.
