NORTON, Mass. Wheaton College women s track and field senior student-athlete Ashante Little (Seabrook, N.H./Winnacunnet) has been selected to represent the New England Women s and Men s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) as a nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award, as chosen by a vote of the NEWMAC Athletic Directors at the conference s annual meetings on Monday. Little shares this distinction with MIT senior swimmer Christy Rogers (Bend, Ore./Summit). Both student-athletes will be considered for selection as one of the top candidates from each of the NCAA's three divisions later this summer.
